TEX RIDES AGAIN is an animated series set up as an homage to 1940s Warner Brothers cartoon director Tex Avery and his wackily elastic version of onscreen reality. The new cowboy character of Tex is used as the lead; a heroic gunslinger feverishly pursuing the amorous attentions of the disconcertingly named Chastity Knott. Tex also squares off against the viciously villainous Sagebrush Sid. The series imitates the frenetic, high-energy, anything-can-happen approach originally favored by Avery in his early Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck animated masterpieces.
